Giza, Egypt is the most unreal place you might ever visit in your life. When you see the pyramids, it takes about five minutes for it to set in that these are the actual Pyramids of Giza. They were built 2,550 years before Jesus was born. They're rocks that are older than Jesus. And the crazy, crazy part is that the were all put there. By people. Who hand-made their own tools.
So then after that sets in for a while, you hop on a camel and start riding across the dessert to look at the Sphinx. Another piece of world history that you just stare at, and it takes about three days for that to seem remotely real.
It's amazing. I couldn't even begin to explain it to you in words, it's one of those things you have to first hand experience.
